Decadent Chocolate Cake

Preheat oven to 350F
Spray cake pans and dust with flour

In mixer combine:
1 cup Sugar
3/4 cup Agave nectar
1 3/4 cup Whole wheat flour (I grind winter wheat)
3/4 cup Cocoa powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking powder
1 1/2 tsp Baking soda
1 tsp salt
1/2 cup egg whites
1 cup Nonfat milk
1/2 cup applesauce, no sugar added
2 tsp vanilla

Mix all together until well combined and then add:
1 cup boiling water

Pour into baking pans and bake for 30 minutes.
Let cool 10 minutes and remove from pans to cool on rack.
Try the fresh orange frosting to complete your dessert.
